FAQ's

Q: What is a Nurse Practitioner?

A: Nurse practitioners (NPs) are registered professional nurses who are prepared, through advanced graduate education and clinical training, to provide a wide range of health care services, including the diagnosis and management of common, as well as complex, medical conditions to individuals of all ages.

Q: Do you prescribe medication?

A: Yes, our Nurse Practitioners have prescriptive authority, however, we do closely monitor narcotics.  

Q: Do I need an appointment?

A: We appreciate you making an appointment, however, we do take walk-ins. See the hours listed on our hours of operation page.  

Q: What do I need to bring with me?

A: In order to ensure proper billing, we do request that you bring your insurance card, as well as a current government-issued photo ID. If you are bringing in a child for a well child check, current vaccination records are also helpful.

Q: What ages do you see?

A: We see all ages, including infants.

Q: What insurance plans do you accept?

A: We accept most major insurance plans, including Soonercare (Medicaid). If you have a question about your specific insurance carrier, please call us at

Q: What are your hours?

A: We are open Monday thru Thursday from 8am-5pm, Friday from 8am-1pm. Closed on Saturday and Sunday. We are closed for lunch daily from 1pm-1:30 pm 

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are conveniently located on Vandament and Ranchwood near Canadian County Health Department.
